DOS games refer to video games that were developed to run on MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System), a command-line operating system that was widely used on IBM-compatible personal computers during the 1980s and 1990s. Here, I'll show you how you can still play these classic games on your PC today.

Step 1: Install ScummVM

Go to the official ScummVM website.

2.

Download the version for your operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.).

3.

Install ScummVM by following the installation instructions.


Step 2: Add Games to ScummVM

Launch ScummVM

2.

Click Add Game in the main menu.

3.

Browse to the folder where your game files are stored.

 

Example: If you have Monkey Island, locate the folder containing the game files (e.g., monkey1).

4.

Select the folder and click Choose.

5.

ScummVM will detect the game and add it to your list.
